Polestar and CAKE have revealed a second limited Polestar edition of the fully electric moped Makka in the sky colour first shown on the Polestar electric roadster concept.
The first edition of the CAKE Makka Polestar edition was first launched in 2021 and proved to be a huge hit as the edition instantly sold out. The bike had a distinctive Polestar touch and design features. Besides the colour, the Polestar edition includes a slim headlight and dampers from high-end suspension company Ohlins.
The press release also highlighted that the new edition in sky colour also features a detachable rear carrier to use for improved cargo carrying, adaptable for con figurations like boxes, racks, passenger seats and more, making the electric commuter even more flexible.
The CAKE Makka Polestar edition is said to have a top speed of 45 km/h and two ride modes for extended range or balanced performance.
The bike will be sold and delivered by CAKE, but the Polestar edition will be available exclusively to selected Polestar markets via their web shop from 14th December 2022. The retail price will be 5,300 EUR/USD.
Polestar has already produced two electric performance cars. The Polestar 1 being built in 2019 and 2021 and the Polestar 2 being the company’s first fully electric, high volume car.
