In the latest update of the Tesla app (version 4.24) drivers have been given easy access to a number of car features via the Apple Shortcuts app. The update means that drivers can control their vehicles on-the-go with their iPhone.
The app update also allows Siri Support to provide access to control owner’s Tesla vehicles. Siri voice commands permit riders to lock, unlock, air condition, and even honk your car horn all whilst being away from their vehicle.
15 shortcuts are currently on offer but users can also set up automations for their vehicle, such as setting a specific time every day for their Tesla’s climate system to activate in order to de-frost the vehicle prior to driving in the morning.

The vehicle commands that can be controlled via Apple Shortcuts and Siri Support include vehicle defrost, dog mode, pre-condition vehicle, set seat heater (seat position and heat level), vent/close windows, open/close doors, flash lights, and many more. The full list of commands available can be viewed here.
To access these shortcuts, update your Tesla app on iOS to the latest version.
