Nvidia CEO Jensen Huang announced a brand-new AI chip model on Sunday in his keynote address at the Computex event in Taipei.

The next-gen AI chip has been dubbed the name “Rubin”, the successor to the tech company’s current chip named “Blackwell” which were only announced less than three months ago in March.

“A new computing age is starting,” Huang said, as reported by the FT.

Nvidia recently saw shares soar by 265% after releasing their quarterly revenue report in February this year.

The brand-new chip is set to start shipping in 2026 and promises improved power efficiency to its predecessor the”Blackwell” chip.
