In “Where AI, tech and data are taking mobility” Moderator, David Welch, sat down with representatives from Stellantis, DHL, Volvo and Mercedes to discuss the use of AI and its impact on consumer experience, driver experience and society at large. 

The conversation centred on the key benefits of leveraging AI in the contexts of both fleet maintenance and in-car experience, exploring AI’s critical potential to improve customer safety, increase efficiency and reduce waste.

The panellists focused their discussion on the challenges and benefits of using anonymised data, including concerns surrounding data privacy, data sharing and opt-in services, as well as the role of agentic AI and its role in customer service and user experience. 

In the context of fleet management, the discussion focused on AI’s potential as a proactive technology that can prevent over-maintenance and reduce downtime.
