Stephanie De La Hoz, Director of Programming, Move For Hunger
Stephanie is dedicated to making a difference within the mobility space and is well deserving of the award!
Stephanie is a strong and dedicated leader in her organization. Many team members rely on her and she always shows up with encouragement, support, and solutions. She is a very deserving of the award!

Stephanie is so passionate about rescuing, transporting and delivering food to food banks across the US. She is an inspiring leader for our whole team!
Lola Ortiz Sánchez, Directora general de Planificación e Infraestructuras de Movilidad del Ayto. de Madrid y Presidenta de WITAM, Ayuntamiento de Madrid y WITAM
Lola is one of the most incredible women I’ve ever met. Her contribution to improving mobility in a city as important as Madrid has been crucial.
I have chosen this candidate because, in addition to the outstanding work she does at the Madrid City Council, she is also one of the founders of WITAM, which promotes the visibility of women across the entire transport and mobility sector, traditionally a very male-dominated field.

Because Lola has been, for years, one of the leading figures in Spain in mobility and urban planning, leading major projects that are firmly committed to sustainability and public transport.
Kate Tyrell, Founder & Principal Consultant, NorthStar Studio
If you’ve ever driven an EV late at night and found yourself charging in a dark, isolated corner of a car park then you already know why Kate Tyrrell’s work matters. Kate didn’t just talk about the problem. She founded ChargeSafe, built a 140-point independent inspection framework, and persuaded operators like Osprey, Fastned, GRIDSERVE, 3Ti and PoGo to voluntarily put their sites under the microscope. Getting CPOs to sign up for external scrutiny without regulatory compulsion is genuinely rare and she did it.

Kate is one of the most driven and focused people in the industry. She leads where others follow.
Kate is a champion for the cause, she’s passionate about inclusivity and equity in all forms. More than this, she is skilled at delivering messaging in the right way so that others are brought along on the journey too.
Carla Mendonça Tavares, Head of Renewables & Commercial Innovation Center, Galp
Carla is an innovation powerhouse.
I’m voting for Carla for the MOVE 2026 Women in Mobility Award because her work goes beyond innovation; it creates real, lasting impact. She brings clarity to complex challenges, turns ideas into action, and leads with both vision and consistency. Recognizing her is not just about celebrating achievements, but about supporting the kind of leadership that moves mobility and people forward.

Inspiring leadership and a forward-thinking vision: since her arrival, she has been a key driver in accelerating mobility at Galp. She is a true example of how empathy and technical expertise can – and should – go hand in hand!
Shanmugapriya Murugananth, Investment Strategist, Auto, Guidance Tamil Nadu
She has played a significant role in enabling key industry collaborations, including her valuable support in facilitating the MoU with the TN Guidance team. What truly stands out is her accessibility and responsiveness—she is always quick to connect and act when needed.

A dynamic professional, she actively travels across regions to understand on-ground realities and works closely with stakeholders to support and uplift MSMEs. Her commitment to bridging gaps between policy and industry is both impactful and inspiring.
Shanmugapriya’s vision for this sector is forward and much needed in the Indian market.
Sarra Stewart, CEO, Shebah
Sarra is an incredible woman! The creation of a safe ride share for women by women is a game changer for women riders and drivers. So many women feel uncomfortable or unsafe traveling alone or with kids in a car with a man they don’t know, even though the vast majority of men are safe to be around. AND Shebah is fair with taking half the percentage that other huge ride share companies take. Can I mention Uber? A whopping 27% v Shebah’s 15%. Please pick Sarra! She’s a legend.

Sarra deserves recognition for all they do to make sure women and children are safe when being transported via ride share
Join us in our celebration of these women, and many more, at MOVE 2026. Get your tickets here today.
