France-based car supplier giant Forvia signs deal with BYD to supply its second European factory located in Turkey.
The world’s seventh largest car parts supplier has been a long-time partner of BYD and has already worked with the Chinese automakers this year on their first European factory in Hungary.
In their latest sales report, Forvia reported a drop in production in China. However the automaker remains hopeful to expect a return to outperformance compared to automotive production in China in 2025, after a sales drop in Q3.
Patrick Koller, Chief Executive Officer of FORVIA, said:
“In a Chinese market that is expected to grow in 2025, we confirm that we should resume outperforming the automotive production in the country by at least 300 basis points.”
