The state of Florida has approved the use of an artificial intelligence (AI) powered traffic management system within the state to enhance traffic efficiency and safety.

NoTraffic received approval to deploy their AI security system to Floridian roads as part of their commitment to the highest safety and future-ready standards.

The Israel-based company is partnered with tech giant Nvidia and is planned to operate in various locations across the state, including Collier County, Pasco County, Orlando, and more.

Tal Kreisler, CEO and Co-Founder of NoTraffic, said:

“This endorsement not only opens doors for us in Florida but also positions NoTraffic as a trusted partner for traffic agencies and states across the nation. This reflects our hard earned commitment to creating a safer, more efficient future for North American roadways.”

Claiming to be the first AI-powered traffic signal platform that connects road users to the city grid, NoTraffic leverages a network of smart sensors deployed at intersections, conflict points, or complex roadways.

Signals that are picked up by the sensors provide input data on road users into one fully automated, cloud-connected hub. The company’s mobility operating system allows cities to define their transportation policies at local intersections and city grid scales.

The system offers 24/7 support to all kinds of transportation, including cars, bicycles, buses, pedestrians and more.
